Do trusses come in one piece or two?

The gable trusses are manufactured  in two pieces, which are then bolted together to form one complete truss. Lean-to trusses are a single manufactured truss.

What does the bolt kit include?

Each bolt kit contains all the necessary bolts for assembling and mounting one truss onto the posts.

Gable Trusses: The kit includes bolts to connect the two centers of the truss, mount crossbars (for trusses 24' and larger), and secure the truss to the post. It also comes with all required washers, lock washers, and nuts.

Lean-to Trusses: The kit includes all 5/8" lag or through bolts and washers.

Can I space my trusses 16 feet apart?

No, our trusses are designed to be spaced no more than 12 feet apart. Check within your area for permit requirements.

Does Southeast American Metal Sales deliver the kit?

We do not offer delivery services, but we can recommend reliable delivery services.

What is your lead time for pole barns?

The typical lead time is about one week.

Can you manufacture custom pitches?

Yes, we can customize gable trusses with pitches ranging from 3/12 to 12/12, with 4/12 as the standard pitch. For lean-to trusses, we offer customization from 1/12 to 12/12, with 1/12 being the standard.

I want to expand my building. Can you match an existing truss?

Yes, we can match an existing truss, provided we have accurate measurements.

Do you build trusses wider than your stock sizes?

Our standard trusses are available up to 40 feet wide. We can build trusses up to 60 feet wide, with a corresponding increase in price.
